(Lincoln)- The Nebraska Men's and Women's basketball teams split scrimmages with Iowa State on Sunday.
James Palmer Jr. dropped in 23-points to lead the Husker men over the Cyclones 92-84. Nebraska led 43-34 at the half, allowed Iowa State to climb ahead 68-62, but the Huskers used an 11-0 run to reclaim the lead and never gave it back.
Hannah Whitish scored 23-points of her own, but the Husker women came up on the short end 64-62 against the Clones. Nebraska led 60-59 with just under 50-seconds remaining, but Iowa State All-Big 12 guard Bridget Carleton completed a 3-point play gave the Cyclones back the lead, and the Huskers never got back over the hump.
