(Neb.)-Chadron State finishes third at Yellowjacket Invitational
BILLINGS, Mont. – The Chadron State women’s golf team shot a 339 in the second round of the Yellowjacket Spring Innovational to finish third with a cumulative score of 682.
Montana State won the tournament with a score of 648, while Colorado Mesa finished second after shooting 672.
For the second day in a row Karissa Moreland led the way for CSC after firing an 80. Moreland finished fourth overall with 159 total strokes.
Not far behind was Schuyler Wetzel who finished eleventh after shooting an 84 to finish with a 170.
Emma Harris had the biggest improvement for the Eagles, she shot a 101 Thursday but dropped twenty strokes of her score Friday after shooting an 81.
Chadron State will host a triangular meet this Monday, March 25.
