(Neb)-Chadron Man In Critical Condition After Hwy Accident
CHADRON - A Chadron man is in critical condition at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff with injuries suffered Tuesday afternoon in a one-vehicle rollover accident on Highway 20 about 10 miles east of Chadron.
The Nebraska State Patrol says 56 year Robert "Bob" Lewin suffered a blowout that sent his vehicle off the north side of the highway in the Anderson Hill area. It struck a fence and rolled down a canyon slope, coming to rest on its side.
Extrication equipment was required to free Lewin from the vehicle and he was flown to Regional West by AirLink helicopter ambulance. The State Patrol says Lewin was wearing his seat belt at the time of the accident.
