(Neb.)-Fracking Wastewater Community Forum To Be Held Wednesday In Scottsbluff

(Scottsbluff)-The Scotts Bluff County Democratic Party will be hosting a fracking waste water community forum with guest speaker Mike Sarchet on Wednesday at 6.00 pm at 1906 Broadway in Scottsbluff at the Law Office of Michael W. Meister.
“Having Mike Sarchet speak at this event is a wonderful opportunity for concerned citizens to learn about the facts, issues and impact of fracking and waste water impact on our environment and our communities,” said Scotts Bluff County Chair Stan Kontogiannis.
Mike Sarchet resides in Mitchell Nebraska. Sarchet received his Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences from the University of Northern Colorado and has significant graduate hours in geology, hydrology and environmental science. Mike taught secondary science in the Scottsbluff Public School system for thirty years.
Sarchet also worked for nine years as project manager for Twin Cities Development Association. Sarchet is a past member of Nebraska Wildlife Federation Board of Directors, served on the Governor's task force for riparian vegetation and introduced and helped implement the 9-mile invasive species project. Mike is presently serving on the Nebraska Farmer's Union Board of Directors.
