(Neb.)-Two Miss Teen Crowns Awarded In Chadron

(Chadron)-Nebraska teens Allie Boggs and Chelsea Arnold were crowned Miss Chadron’s Outstanding Teen and Miss Northwest’s Outstanding Teen 2014 respectively at the 7th annual Miss Chadron’s Outstanding Teen pageant held in Chadron on Sunday. 
Boggs is the daughter of Todd and Annie Boggs of Gering, and Arnold is the daughter of Paige Schmidt of Crete.  Boggs was awarded the overall physical fitness and overall talent awards and was also named as Miss Congeniality while Arnold was named the overall interview winner.  Mikaela Hastings, the daughter of Todd and Marletta Hastings of Chadron, was named the 1st runner up and also received the audience choice award.  Hastings, Arnold and Boggs tied for the overall eveningwear award which is the first three way tie in pageant history.  Alexis McGlone, the daughter of Paula Brening and Scott McGlone of Mitchell was awarded the Rising Star award. 
Winning the titles of Little Miss Chadron and Little Miss Northwest 2014 were Kylah Vogel, daughter of Joe and Amanda Vogel of Crawford and Mia Fernandez, daughter of Romie and Jessica Fernandez of Alliance respectively. Runners up for those titles were Gracie Jones, daughter of Dave and Amy Jones of Chadron and Carly Lemmon, daughter of John and Misty Lemmon of Crawford respectively.  The 9 other Little Miss Contestants were awarded prizes for prettiest eyes, smile, hair and personality. 
Boggs and Arnold will now advance to the Miss Nebraska Outstanding Teen Pageant held in North Platte in June.  The winner of the Miss Nebraska Outstanding Teen Pageant will advance to America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant held in August.  For more information on the pageant or to book an appearance for the Little Miss or Teens, contact Riki Hunter at 308-430-4355
