(Neb.)-Thomas Jefferson Persona To Visit Rural Futures Conference

By: Roxie Graham-Marski Posted at: 09/16/2013 09:53 AM
LINCOLN, Neb. (ASSOCIATED PRESS) - A man portraying Thomas Jefferson will open the 2013 Rural Futures Conference in Lincoln.
Clay Jenkinson will share Jefferson's thoughts about boundaries and the new world, reflecting the conference's theme: "Beyond Boundaries."
The conference is scheduled for Nov. 3-5 at The Cornhusker hotel in Lincoln. Organizers say they plan to build on last year's inaugural conference by getting rural communities more engaged through a variety of activities.
Registration is available at ruralfutures.nebraska.edu/conference, where people also will find the entire conference agenda.
Registration costs $150, but a discounted rate of $40 is available for high school and college students.
