(Wyo.)-Liam, Emma Most Popular Wyoming Baby Names In 2012

     CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Some Wyoming parents are choosing more unique names for their babies, but others are still sticking to tradition.
     The Wyoming Department of Health Vital Statistics Services Program says that based on birth certificate records, Liam was the most common name for baby boys born in Wyoming in 2012. Mason, William, Logan and Wyatt also were in the top five.
     For girls, Emma was the most popular, followed by Sophia, Elizabeth, Madison and Olivia.
     University of Wyoming social psychology professor Ben Wilkowski says that as Americans become more individualistic, many are choosing more unique baby names
     Vital Statistics Services program manager Jim McBride said in a written statement Monday that even when some parents choose recognizable names, they are choosing unique spellings.
