07/08/2017 - Marletta (Rich) Pacheco

Funeral services for Marletta Adele (Rich) Pacheco, age 71, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD with Pastor Wendell Ghost Bear and Pastor Keith Rich officiating.
Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 3:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD.
Marletta passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD. She was born in Rapid City, SD on July 6, 1945 to Ed and Edith Rich. 
Marletta grew up in Rapid City and lived there all her life. She was happily married to Sylvester Pacheco for 33 years. She was a loving and devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She impacted lives throughout her family, community, and beyond. A big part of her life was spent serving the Lord in the First Body of Jesus Christ Church, where she also served on the board of directors. Marletta was known for her beautiful voice, selflessness, generosity, and kindness. She was also the founder of the Prisoner Support Group, where she made a difference in many lives. Marletta touched the hearts of many, and her hard work, passion to help others, and determination will never be forgotten.
Marletta is survived by sons Byron Roach, Sylvester Pacheco Jr. and Daniel Pacheco, all of Rapid City, SD; daughters Lenora Roach, LaVonne Roach, and Alejandria Pacheco, all of Rapid City, SD; brothers Keith Rich and Wallace Rich of Rapid City, SD; sister Thelma Capper of Montpelier, IN; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Marletta Adele (Rich) Pacheco.
