05/04/2017 - Everett Charles Thunder Bull

Funeral services for Everett Charles Thunder Bull, age 66, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Darla Black.
Burial will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, SD.
A one-night wake service will begin at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD.
Everett was a veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was born on December 29, 1950 to Thomas and Alvina (Plenty Wolf) Thunder Bull. He made his journey to the Spirit World on April 24, 2017 in Minneapolis, MN.
Everett is survived by children Lynn Thunder Bull and Lisa Looks Twice of Manderson, SD, Jaqueline Smith of Gering, NE and Charles T. Thunder Bull of Denver, CO; sisters Wanda (Thunder Bull) Weaver of Las Vegas, NV, Darlene Salinas of Worland, WY, Arlene Janis of Minneapolis, MN and Shirley Campbell of Manderson, SD; special granddaughters Dakota Flying Hawk and Wilhelmina Squirrel Coat of Manderson, SD; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Everett was preceded in death by parents Thomas and Alvina (Plenty Wolf) Thunder Bull; spouse Joyce (Shoulders) Thunder Bull; sisters Betty Thunder Bull-Taylor and Nancy Thunder Bull; and brother Wendell Thunder Bull.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Everett Charles Thunder Bull.
