10/22/2013 - Jo Ann (Webster) Hagman Schaeffer

Memorial services for Jo Ann (Webster) Hagman Schaeffer, age 84, of Chadron, will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 1:30 PM at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Dr. Russ Seger officiating.
Inurnment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Reception to follow at Jo Ann’s home at 827 Bordeaux Street, Chadron.

A memorial has been established for the First Congregational United Church for the landscaping fund for Wilson Park. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.
She was born August 1, 1929 in Chadron to parents Joseph V & Aouida K Webster. Her siblings include a brother Morris E. and a sister Neyl Janice. Jo Ann attended Chadron Prep school and graduated from CSC in 1971.
On November 14, 1948, she married Walter E Hagman of Oglala SD. They had 5 children; Fred & Jolene (Tate & Teneyl) of Chadron; Sam & Sami (Daniel) of California; Debbie & Greg (Amelia) of Oklahoma; Gus & Tammi (Luke & Rachel) of Oklahoma; Julie (Calie) of Arizona.
In December of 1970, Jo Ann married Jack F. Schaeffer of Chadron. Her family grew to include Jack’s daughter Diana & Roger (Chris) of Washington and Carla deceased (Sarah).
She enjoyed her friends, flower garden, music, art, remembrance of her ranch life, and traveling with her 2nd husband Jack. She worked for George Grosh at Chuck Wagon and Jerry Baker’s accounting office.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
