03/20/2013 - Maurice Reeves (Moe Reeves)

The memorial service for Maurice Reeves (Moe Reeves), age 74 of Whiteclay, Nebraska will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Extension Church in Whiteclay, NE with Reverend Al Trucano officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Parkview Lodge Assisted Living in Rushville. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home, PO Box 366, Gordon, NE 69343.
Maurice Reeves (Moe Reeves) passed away Friday, March 15, 2013, at Chadron Community Hospital.
Moe was born in Rushville, Nebraska on April 6, 1938. He graduated from Rushville High School and continued on to Chadron State College.
Moe worked and owned Nicks Saws and Parts for 30 years. He loved farming and spending time with his family. Great conversations and solving world problems in the late hours of the evening was a favorite pastime. Moe is known for his humor and for being named the grumpiest man in Whiteclay in the Lakota Times.
Moe has been a lifetime Elks member and a lifetime Eagles member.
The family of Maurice Reeves wishes to thank the nurses at Chadron Community Hospital and Dr. Dave Johnson.

Mother: Carrie Reeves
Sister: Holly Jacquot and her husband Roger
Daughter: Ronda Hillberg and her husband Dan; Valerie Reeves.
Son: Ed Reeves and wife Tonya; Wayne Reeves and his wife Shalaine
Grandchildren: Jordan, Journey, Lexi and Mya Reeves, DJ, Chris, Bridget and Andrew Rouse, Joeseph, Suraiya, Shayla, Brittany, Brandon and Cherish Reeves, Daniel and Nick Hillberg
Niece: Carol Sturm
Nephew: David Dreyer and wife Cheryl
Great Grandchildren: 6
Moe is preceded in death by his father Louis Reeves, his brother Jerry Reeves and his sister Joyce Dreyer.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements.
