Meet the staff of Stereo AM 610 KCSR
Dennis Brown
Dennis and Kathi Brown are the owners of Chadrad Communications Inc., parent company of KCSR-AM, KBPY-FM, and Chadrad.com. They moved to Chadron in July 1991, and they own a home here. Of their 14 staff members, 12 live in Chadron, one lives in Crawford, and one lives east of Chadron. KCSR & KBPY serve Chadron and other communities in the listening area, which is roughly 100 miles in all directions outside of Chadron. Chadrad.com serves everybody everywhere. Each announcer is right here in the local studio, and all of the music is being played here locally.
Office Staff
Roxie joined the KCSR/KBPY team in September 2011, working in the news department until December 2014 when she became the office manager. She is happy to work for a locally owned and operated company that truly cares about the communities it serves. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration from Southwestern Adventist University and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University. She and her husband Eser enjoy traveling, their pets, and spending time with family and friends.
Deja Henson joined the Chadrad Communications team in October 2014 as the Broadcast Traffic Director. She relocated to Chadron, her mother’s hometown, in 2008 from Columbus, OH, where she attended Columbus State Community College. She also attended Chadron State College, majoring in Business Management. When not at work, Deja and her daughter Nina enjoy fishing, hiking, swimming, gardening, and home projects.
Sales Staff
Mike Trueblood is the Senior Account Executive at KCSR and KBPY. He has lived in Chadron since 1991, graduated from Chadron State College in 1996 with a Major in Business, and has been with the corporation since 1998. Mike and his wife, Amy, live in Chadron where they are raising their family.  Mike has been involved in the Chadron Kiwanis Club, Chamber committees and volunteers as a coach for youth sports.
As you can see, Lisa Aschwege is a faithful Pittsburgh Steelers fan. She started her radio career at KVSH in Valentine in 1999 and has been an Account Executive at Chadrad Communications since March 2006. She was born in Pennsylvania, grew up in Lodgepole, NE, took classes at Chadron State College in Business Management and Music, and now resides in Crawford. She has three children and enjoys sports, gardening, camping, fishing, riding her motorcycle and traveling. She is secretary of Crawford Helping Hands and enjoys helping her community.

News and Sports
John Axtell
Chris Fankhauser has returned to KCSR to co-host the afternoon program, Live @ 4. She has been a part of the Chadrad family since 2002 when she first joined the news department. Now, she is focusing on finishing her Master's Degree in Business Administration at Chadron State College and will graduate in December 2015. She will continue to provide detailed coverage of any breaking news and weather events for listeners, as well as providing pictures of Chadron High School sporting events throughout the year.
Jeremy Anderson joined KCSR/KBPY three years ago as the News Director, but for the past two years has served as the Sports Director here at Chadrad Communications. He, his soon-to-be wife Genie, and their two daughters enjoy calling Chadron home. Jeremy enjoys traveling the area during the sports seasons, covering Chadron, Crawford, Hay Springs, SiouxCounty, and Edgemont to bring the best sports coverage in NW Nebraska, and always loves his Saturdays with Husker football.
Chris Smith joined Chadrad Communications as a student intern at the start of 2015. After graduating from Chadron State College with a BA in Communication Arts, he became the company’s Production/Promotions Director. He also broadcasts sports games as a color commentator and co-hosts the shows “Two Guys One Mic” and “Sports Weekly.”
Air Staff
Jeff Wing
Brad Moore joined the KCSR/KBPY team in 2011. He helps out by running the high school sports games back at the station and also helps out with the overnight duties. He earned a degree in Communication Arts from Chadron State College. He is a huge sports fan and recently got married to the love of his life, Elisa.
Brianna Wilson is the newest addition to the Chadrad Communications team. She works part-time as a Board Operator for sports games. Brianna was born in Chadron to Gabe and Lisa Wilson. She’s also lived in Brule, Ogallala, and Big Springs, NE, where she graduated high school in May 2014 as class valedictorian. She is now pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Chadron State College with a focus in Forensics and a minor in Psychology. She has three younger siblings and a dog, Sawsha, who is her own little furry baby. Her hobbies include reading, drawing, piano, bass guitar, and writing.
