(Neb.)- Area Girls Basketball Sub-District Brackets Released

(Chadron)- Post-season basketball will tip off for many girls basketball team across Nebraska on Monday, but the Northwest Panhandle sub-districts won't begin until Tuesday.

Chadron, the two seed, has been paired against 3rd seeded Gordon-Rushville at the C1-12 sub-district in Alliance.  Tip-ff is set for 6:30 p.m.  The two teams have meet twice this season with the Lady Cardinals taking both matchups.  On the other side of the bracket it top seeded Mitchell, one of only two teams undefeated in Class C-1, and they face off with 4th seeded Valentine at 5:00 p.m.

The winners of Tuesday's semi-finals games will meet in the sub-district championship on Thursday at Alliance with tip-off at 7:00 p.m.

In the D1-12 sub-district at Bridgeport, the Crawford Lady Rams have earned the 3rd seed and will square off with 2nd seeded Garden County at 6:30 p.m.  In their only previous meeting this season the Eagles won 22-20.  Morrill will be the top seed in the sub-district and play Paxton at 5:00 p.m.

The D1-12 sub-district final will be held on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at Bridgeport.

Sioux County and Hay Springs are on opposite sides of the bracket in the D2-11 sub-district tournament at Gordon-Rushville.  The Lady Warriors grabbed the two seed and take on Cody-Kilgore at 7:00 p.m while Hay Springs will meet Hyannis at 5:00 p.m.

Thursday's final will tip at 7:00 p.m. in Gordon.
