(Neb.)- Round One At Fox Hollow Wraps On Monday

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Chadron State College women's golf played the first round of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Fall Tournament on Monday at Fox Hollow Golf Course in Lakewood, Colorado.

Sam Rahmig was the top golfer for the Eagles on the first day with an 88. She picked up the pace on the back nine, shooting a five-over-par 40 after a 48 on the front side of the course. Rahmig sits tied for 52nd headed into Tuesday.

Adrianna Weeldreyer started the day well, birdieing the par-five sixth hole, but gave away a few strokes on the back side of things to finish at 94 on the day. She averaged even-par on the course's three par-fives and currently ranks 64th.

Tori Meschke carded her best round so far as an Eagle, finishing 71st at 100. Logan Kasten shot 104 to round out the squad's 386 total strokes.

The Eagles were 14th headed into Tuesday's second and deciding round.

Colorado Mesa University led the tourney after Monday's scores were final with a round of 308. The Mavericks' Ashlyn Kirschner led individually with a one-over-par 72.
