(Neb.)-Crawford Falls To Giltner At State Tournament 58-39
(LINCOLN) - Crawford's first ever trip to the girls state basketball tournament ended Thursday night at Lincoln North Star High School with a 58-39 loss to Giltner.
The two teams got off to a sloppy start in the game and Giltner led 13-9 after the first period. The game stayed close until about halfway through the second quarter when Giltner went on a 13-2 run to close the half with a 29-16 lead. Crawford struggled with Giltner's pressure defense and was unable to get the deficit back under ten the rest of the night.
Giltner struggled at the free throw line in the game, converting just 16 of 32 attempts. Crawford made 3 of 6.
Kaitlin Rudloff led the Lady Rams with 14 points. Dani Most was Giltner's top scorer with 17.
Crawford ends the season with a 16-8 record.
