(Neb.)-Londo named all-RMAC
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Chadron State College’s Katie Londo has been placed on the All-Conference Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Third Team.
Londo, a junior third baseman from Colorado Springs, Colo., led the Eagles with a .353 batting average and had a team-high 42 hits. She also had 38 infield assists and drove in 17 runs.
The RMAC Softball Player of the Year is Adams State’s Katelyn Lovato, while the Pitcher of the Year is Colorado School of Mines’ Kelly Unkrich.
The RMAC Freshman of the Year is Patyon Kornfiend of the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and Kristie Hawkins of Colorado Mines is the Coach of the Year.
Chadron State finished the 2013 season with a 14-24 record and finished ninth in the conference with a 12-19 record.
