The two squads will play another doubleheader today (Sunday). First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.

Chadron State jumped on the Rangers early in the opening game. Rebecca Wetsch hit a 3-run home run in the first inning and Danielle L’Argent added a solo 2-run shot in the fourth to put CSC up, 6-0.

The Eagles added four more runs in the fifth. Wetsch hit a 2-run double, Shea Graham hit an RBI triple and Ashlynn Marino also knocked in a run.

The Rangers scored one run in the fifth but Aryn Grywusiewicz retired the final two batters to earn her sixth victory of the season. In five innings of work, she scattered eight hits and struck out two.
