(Neb.)-Moreland finishes sixth at CSU-Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. – Chadron State College's Karissa Moreland shot a second round of 81 to finish in sixth place at the ThunderWolf Ladies Spring Invitational Sunday in Pueblo, Colo.

The Eagles finished the nine-team invite in sixth place by shooting a 36-hole total of 720. CSU-Pueblo cruised to the team title with 644, while Regis finished second with 692.


CSU-Pueblo's Hee-Leina Kim won the tourney with a 152. She shot a 77 during Saturday's first round and followed with a 75 on Sunday.


Moreland, who fired an opening round of 86, finished with 167 over 36 holes to claim sixth place.


Emma Harris also added a top 20 finish, carding a 178.


Also for the Eagles, Darcy Vernon shot 186, Schuyler Wetzel finished with 189 and Emilee Pilkington carded 198.
