(Neb.)-Bargen named player of the week

CHADRON - Zac Bargen of Chadron State and Addy Roller of Wayne State are the Nebraska Division II Players of the Week.

Bargen, a 6-foot-5 junior guard from Chadron, averaged 26.5 points in two contests.

Bargen scored 33 points, including six 3-pointers to go along with seven rebounds in an 89-86 loss at New Mexico Highland in double overtime.

On Saturday, Bargen had 20 points and six rebounds in a 75-65 loss at Western New Mexico.

Bargen is averaging 18.9 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game for the season.

Roller, a 5-8 freshman guard from Purdy, Mo., averaged 17 points, three assists and three steals per game for the No. 22 Wildcats in two games over the weekend.
