(Neb.)-Lady Cards Roll Past Valentine In Tourny Finals

(Chadron)-For the second time in as many games it was the pressure defense and the speed of Chadron that boosted them to a 70-43 win over Valentine in the finals of the Chadron Holiday Tournament.

Ashlea Kerr led all scorers with a 22 point effort as Valentine was with in three at one point in the second quarter at 19-16 before Chadron closed on a 21-7 run for a 40-23 halftime lead.

With the win Chadron now improves their record to 10-1 overall and will be back in action at home on January 5th, when Mitchell strolls into town
