DENVER – Five players scored in double figures and the Colorado Christian women’s basketball team came up with 17 steals en route to its 106-68 victory over Chadron State College Friday during the opening day of the Holiday Inn Select Classic on Metro State’s campus.

Chadron State will play Lubbock Christian today (Saturday) at 5 p.m.

Colorado Christian’s Mariah Metoyer scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Taylor Torres added 20 points but it was the Cougars’ defense that proved to be the difference in the game.
