(Neb.) - Day one complete at District wrestling tournaments

Day one is complete at the area district wrestling tournaments. Fourteen wrestlers from Chadron (6), Gordon-Rushville (3), Crawford (3) and Hay Springs (2) will begin day in the semifinals. A win by any of those wrestlers will earn them a trip to Lincoln. Plenty other wrestlers will have a chance to work their way through wrestle-backs to qualify for the state tournament.

The top four finishers in each weight class qualify for the state tournament in Omaha Feb 16-18.
