(Neb.)-Scotts Bluff Beats CHS Boys, 59-51, In Western Conference Semi-Final
The Chadron High School Boys’ Basketball Team rallied from a 12 point halftime deficit to take a brief fourth quarter lead, but couldn’t hold on as Scotts Bluff defeated the Cardinals, 59-51, in the Western Conference Invitational semi-final, Friday night.
Senior Brady Roes scored 20 of his 28 points in the second half to keep Chadron in the game. Roes connected on five second-half three pointers. Junior Wyatt Blome scored all seven of his points in the second half. Junior Tyson Budler totaled eight points for CHS.
With the loss, Chadron will face Kimball, at Scotts Bluff High School, Saturday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. The Longhorns fell to Torrington, 63-39, Friday night.
