Frank Allen - Chief Engineer for several years in the late 50s and early 60s. He's shown here in the old KCSR Newsroom. The UPI teletype was a primary source of state and world news. More than once, I recall opening the station in the morning, only to find that the teletype had jammed during the night, and we'd find shredded paper in the machine. It was a mess to clean up and created serious problems in coming up with all the news, farm reports, sports, etc. that was needed. In those days, KCSR was not affiliated with any network. Thanks Larry Miller for photo & info.
