(Neb)-Hemingford Man Charged With Killing Girlfriend's Dog After Argument
ALLIANCE, Neb. (AP) - A 29-year-old Hemingford man has been charged with two felonies for fatally shooting his girlfriend's dog following an argument.
29-year old Adam Swanson is free on $20,000 bail for Intentional Cruelty to an Animal and Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm. His next appearance in Box Butte County Court is Feb 9.
Court documents say the incident occurred Saturday night when a drunken Swanson intentionally shot and killed the dog in its kennel. He later admitted his actions in an interview at the county sheriff's office.
