(Neb)-Pine Ridge Woman Arraigned In Fatal Crash On Slim Buttes Road
CHADRON - The Pine Ridge woman accused of being behind the wheel during a drunk driving rollover accident last month northeast of Chadron that claimed the life of a 6-year-old girl has been formally arraigned in Dawes County Court.
32-year old Kimberly Eagle Bull is scheduled to appear with her attorney in 2 weeks on the 18th and remains in custody on $50,000 bail for 5 felony and 2 misdemeanor counts stemming from the September 9th accident on Slim Buttes Road.
Eagle Bull is accused of being drunk when she rolled a mini-van with 2 others adult sand 3 children as passengers. 6-year old Christina Roubideaux died after being airlifted to Denver Children's Hospital.
An 8-year old girl was also flown to the Denver hospital and continues to recover from serious injuries while a 4-year old received minor injuries. Eagle Bull and the other adults also suffered minor injuries.
Eagle Bull faces felony counts of Motor Vehicle Homicide resulting from driving under the influence, DUI causing serious bodily injury, Intentional Child Abuse resulting in death, Intentional Child Abuse resulting in injury, and Intentional Child Abuse without injury.
The child abuse charges result from Eagle Bull having the children in the car while she was driving drunk. She also faces misdemeanor counts of Transporting a Child While Intoxicated and False Reporting for not giving the investigating officers her real identity.
