(Neb)-Man Loses Leg In Lincoln Road Rage Incident
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Lincoln police are seeking a suspect in a road rage incident Thursday that severed the leg a 39-year-old Lincoln man. The incident happened when two drivers crashed into each other.
Police say both men got out of their vehicles, but one then got back into his car and intentionally hit the other, severing the man's leg. Police found the car abandoned a few blocks away and were still seeking the driver Friday afternoon.
Officials are crediting a Good Samaritan passerby with saving the injured man's life by fashioning a tourniquet out of bungee cords to slow the bleeding.
