(Neb.)-Chadron School Board To Meet Monday Evening
(CHADRON)-The Chadron Public Schools Board of Education will convene for a regularly scheduled meeting at the high school’s Central Office board room Monday evening. New business on the agenda includes discussion and consideration of several policies consisting of filling vacancies, code of ethics, restraint and seclusion and conflict of interest. The board will also discuss proposals for the Primary building roof and renewing a line of credit as well as teacher resignations and superintendent goals.
Other items on the agenda will include a variety of reports, including Dr. Caroline Winchester’s superintendent’s report, and advance planning for upcoming meetings and events. There will also be time for awards, honors, and high fives, which will include recognition for technology director Uati (WHA-ti) Paopao as he was recently presented NETA’s Nebraska Educator Lead with Technology award and Chadron High School’s Envirothon Team of Brooke Roes, Clay Madsen, and Toni Doescher for a first place finish in forestry. The recent Putt-A-Round will also be recognized for their donation of over $1,200 to the Chadron Middle School playground project as will the local businesses who helped make it financially possible for the school’s pep band to travel to Lincoln for the girl’s state basketball tournament.
The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
