(Neb.)-Chadron City Council To Meet Monday Evening
(CHADRON)-The Chadron city council will convene for their first regularly scheduled meeting of the new month on Monday evening at City Hall council chambers, 234 Main Street. On the agenda, resolutions to recommend the award of bid for the First Street and Main Street project and to approve a task order for construction services for Leo A. Daly in connection with the project. Also on the agenda, a resolution to amend the scheduled public hearing date in connection with the creation of the Ash Street paving district and an ordinance to amend the 2013-2014 Fiscal Year budget to transfer dollars from cash reserve to replenish the contingent reserve account.
The council will decide whether to approve an amendment for a consultant agreement with Olsson Associates for airfield lighting improvements in conjunction with the airport improvement project at Chadron Municipal Airport and will also decide whether to approve an interlocal government agreement for the multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan and to appoint a representative. Also on the agenda, a resolution to recommend the award of a bid for construction of a post frame building for the water department and a resolution to declare cast iron pipe as surplus and authorize it to be sold.
The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. and is open to the public. It will also be broadcast on Great Plains Communications local access channel 19 and live streamed online by visiting livestream.com/cityofchadron or the city’s Web site at chadron-nebraska.com and click on the link at the top right of the home page.
