(Neb.)-Commissioners Meeting Includes Website Proposals
(Chadron)-Although the Dawes County Commissioners met last week, they will be meeting again this week for their first March meeting. The meetings in February were shifted to the second and fourth Wednesdays due to scheduling conflicts for the normal meeting days.
The meeting will begin at 9 am Wednesday, with the Board of Equalization. The regular portion of the meeting will begin at 9:20 am. Road Superintendent Larry Hankin will appear before the Board at 10 am for his regular report and bid opening for crushed rock. Lacy Peterson with Human Resources will speak to the Commissioners at 10:30 in regard to flooring bids, and the board will convene into executive session after that to discuss personnel issues.
At 11, the Board will hear from Rick Willis, who is the community liaison for Congressman Adrian Smith. Other items on the agenda for discussion and consideration are the topics of website proposals and changing the March 19 meeting date. The meeting will be held at the Dawes County Courthouse and is open to the public. A full agenda is available for viewing during regular business hours in the office of the County Clerk.
