(Neb.)-Commissioners To Once Again Address Travel Board Appointments
(Chadron)-The Dawes County Commissioners will tackle a full agenda on Wednesday when they meet in regular session. Several updates are scheduled to be presented to the Board, as well as revisiting the applications for the Travel Board that were received at their last meeting.
Mark Masterson with the Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association, or NIRMA, will provide the Board with an update on that organization, and Sandy Roes with Western Community Health Resources will visit with the Board about the grant funding for the Crime Commission.
Dawes County Road Superintendent Larry Hankin will provide a report on roads prior to representatives from Colonial Life Insurance presenting an offer for benefits for the County. The Commissioners will hear from Sheriff Karl Dailey regarding a courtroom bailiff and reimbursement from FEMA prior to Weed Supervisor Shane Cullan presenting an update for the weed department.
The Airport Zoning Board is required to have representatives from the County, and the Board will make appointments for that Board during the meeting as well. A full agenda is available for viewing during regular business hours at the office of the County Clerk. This meeting, which begins at 9 am, is open to the public.
