(Neb.)-Sheridan County Commissioners To Meet Monday Morning
(SHERIDAN COUNTY)-The Sheridan County Commissioners will meet at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28th, in the commissioners’ room of the Sheridan County Courthouse.
The meeting will open as the Board of Equalization. County Assessor Trudy Winter will present a correction sheet for property incorrectly assessed in the county. Discussion of available dates for a property appraisal class that will be open to the public will follow. CountyTreasurer Peg Sones will join the meeting for a discussion on properties with delinquent taxes.
As the county board, the commissioners will review the appointment of a special county attorney to handle cases in which the county attorney has a conflict of interest. That will be followed at 9:30 a.m.by a report from highway superintendent Tom Kuester.
At 10:00 a.m., maintenance superintendent Dwaine Sones will visit with the board about building and grounds maintenance and accompany the commissioners on their quarterly jail inspection.
