(Neb.)-US Postal Service Offering Reward For Information On Whitney Post Office Burglary
(Whitney)-The United States Postal Service is asking for help in gaining information regarding a burglary that took place at the Post Office in Whitney over the weekend. According to a press release from the United States Postal Inspection Service, a reward of up to $10,000 is being offered.
According to the release, sometime between the hours of 8 am on Sunday, September 22, and 7 am Monday, September 23, the Post Office in Whitney was burglarized. There are no details as to damage done or property taken during the incident.
Anyone who has any information relating to the burglary is asked to contact the Dawes County Sheriff’s Office at 665-2510/432-3025, Dawes County Crimestoppers at 432-0519, or the United States Postal Inspection Service at 402-571-5249.
A reward will be considered for information and services leading to the arrest and conviction of any person regarding this offense. The reward at this time is being offered by the US Postal Service. It is anticipated that Crimestoppers will offer a reward as well within the next few days.
