(Neb.)-Chadron Chamber Looking For Sponsors For Moonlight Madness

By: Chris Fankhauser Posted at: 09/16/2013 11:49 AM

(Chadron)-On behalf of the Chadron Chamber of Commerce, students from Chadron High School’s Future Business Leaders of America will be contacting Chamber members for sponsorships for the Chamber’s Moonlight Madness promotions to be held on October 25, which is a Friday, from 4:00 -6:00 pm.

This Chamber sponsored event is a great opportunity for people to present their businesses to the community. This year, the Chamber is encouraging businesses to remain open until 5:30 pm to allow for youngsters and their parents to Trick-or-Treat businesses. Penny carnival games will be scattered throughout a three block area of downtown Chadron to encourage families to visit those businesses.

If a business is a Chamber member but is not in the downtown area, then they can still take advantage of our Trunk or Treat by providing an activity involving employees from the business.

This is truly a community event that many local families enjoy. After visiting the downtown business and playing the carnival games, there will be a costume contest for all ages. The Chamber is also sponsoring the Ugly Pickup Contest during Moonlight Madness with voting from the community determining the winners.

The Chamber is looking for sponsors for the Costume Contest, Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin, and Guess the Number of Candy Corn. Businesses can also join the Moonlight Madness fun and host a penny carnival game at their location downtown, or enjoy the costumes as a Trick-or-Treat Business,

If anyone has any questions regarding Moonlight Madness, how to become a Chamber member or would like to make a donation they can contact the Chamber at 432-4401.
