(Neb.)-Chadron Middle School To Hold Parent Teacher Conferences Next Week
(Chadron)-Chadron Public Schools have been in session for several weeks now, and Middle School Principal Nick Dressel wants to thank parents for an excellent beginning to the school year. In Dressel's blog at chadronschools.org, he says he is very pleased with the work that has happened through the first quarter and he continue to look forward to working with all of the students, parents, and staff at Chadron Middle School. Dressel would also like to thank each of the parents for all of the support that they provide their students at home and for continuing to support the academic and extracurricular programs at school.
With that support in mind, he is inviting parents to the middle school’s parent/teacher conferences, which will take place on September 19, which is next Thursday, from 2:00-8:00 in the CMS Gym. Teachers will have a break from 4:00-5:00 for dinner.
According to the blog, Dressel says he believes that parent/teacher conferences are extremely important because it provides parents and guardians the opportunity to discuss their child’s academic progress with the classroom teachers. He encourages parents and guardians to bring students to the conference because he wants to stay focused on the ways that students, parents and school staff can work together to help the students be successful in school, and he believes students should be a part of that conversation.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, they are encouraged to call Dressel at 432-0708.
