(Neb.)-Pine Ridge Job Corps Students Help With Painting At High School
(Chadron)-The Pine Ridge Painting Career Technical Trade worked at the Chadron High School in August. They prepared and painted walls in the business lab, a general classroom, and the resource room. They also scraped and caulked the surfaces prior to painting, as well as fixing some minor drywall repairs.
The students masked off all the windows and doors and applied the fresh coat of paint under the supervision of Painting Instructor Jeremy Hinrichs. Chadron High School Principal Jerry Mack said that the Painting students from the Pine Ridge Job Corps did a top-notch job at the school. He said everything was professionally done, and you couldn’t ask for anything more. Mack also said the students were great to work with, and he hopes that the schools can continue to utilize their services in the future.
Pine Ridge Job Corps has been doing community projects in the area since 1965.
