(Neb.)-Chadron Schools Host Dream Team Meeting Listen
(Chadron)- Chadron Public Schools hosted a “Dream Team” meeting Tuesday evening in the central office conference room. The purpose of the meeting is to collect a variety of ideas that those with in the schools and community would like to see become a reality.
Several groups met for upwards to 45 minutes in group discussion as each laid out their own ideas. Following the group discussions, each group presented their ideas to everyone else in attendance.
Chadron Schools Superintendent Dr. Caroline Winchester gives her opinion on the turnout of the meeting.
Several similar ideas were presented including parking concerns at each of the facilities, grade reconfiguration when dividing elementary; middle school; junior high; and high school, and new athletic facilities.
Of course none of these ideas are currently being considered by the Chadron School Board, but they are intended to spark possibilities of future developments.
The next “Dream Team” meeting will be held August 22nd at 5:30 p.m.
