(Neb.)-Two Arrests Made In Separate Assault Calls

By: Chris Fankhauser Posted at: 07/24/2013 09:39 AM

(Chadron)-The Chadron Police Department had a busy afternoon on Tuesday, that followed well into the evening and early morning hours on Wednesday. According to police reports, which are public record, officers spent a great deal of time on North Main responding to disturbances that began in the 400 block and carried down into the 200 block.
The first call in the 400 block of Main came shortly after 3:15 Tuesday afternoon with a request for assistance. About an hour and a half later, officers were again called to the same residence for a disturbance. Shortly after 6 pm, the third call for that residence was received, and officers cited two individuals for Third Degree Assault. There were no arrests made at that time.
Later in the evening at approximately 11:50, another call was received involving at least one of the individuals from the prior calls, but at a location in the 200 block of North Main. The caller advised Chadron dispatch that there was a large group of subjects fighting across the street from their location. When officers arrived, they subsequently arrested 36-year-old Joseph Roan Eagle, who had been cited earlier in the evening for assault.
Very early on Wednesday morning, residents at the address where the arrest occurred requested officers at 2:47 a.m. and 3:25 a.m. because of harassment.
Another arrest was made in a separate incident at location in the 200 block of Oak Street. Officers arrested 30-year-old Jamie Little Moon for domestic assault after being called at approximately 3:45 Tuesday afternoon. No court dates are yet listed on the Nebraska Judicial web page for Roan Eagle or Little Moon.
