(Neb.)-Sheridan County Commissioners Meet Monday Morning
(SHERIDAN COUNTY)-The Sheridan County Commissioners were convening at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 15th, in the Commissioners Room of the Sheridan County Courthouse for their regularly scheduled meeting.
The board plans to discuss a possible Public Defender contract and review claims submitted to the county for payment.
Also on the agenda, Trish Loosvelt and Kris Ferguson will give an update on progress being made on the “Cowboy Trail” project, road superintendent Tom Kuester will present the road department report, David Janssen will discuss a section line issue, and Mark Tiensvold will talk about the opening of .5 mile of 520 Road East of 470th Lane.
Barb Van Kerrebrook will give a report on the Generations of Volunteer Efforts (GIVE) program, and law enforcement resources will be reviewed, followed with an opportunity for public comments.
At 11:00 a.m., the Board of Equalization with reconvene to continue hearing property evaluation protests.
