(Neb.)-CSC Holds Second Summer Registration
(Chadron)-About 100 prospective Chadron State College students from several states were signed up to attend the on-campus registration session taking place Wednesday. About 85 students attend the June 12 session earlier in the month.
This is a much higher number than typical for past years, according to Lisa Stein, interim director of Admissions. Due to the increased response, a fourth session will be held on July 10. New Student Orientation is scheduled for August 15-17.
Students who cannot attend any of the on-campus sessions due to time conflicts with work or other committments may elect to have their course schedule created by clicking on the “New to CSC This Fall?” rotating image on the CSC homepage. From there, students should complete and submit the registration form.
Stein said Admissions and START are working closely with academic leadership to provide course sections and accommodate the growth in the incoming class.
“It’s fun and exciting to be part of an event with this many students attending,” Stein said.
Jon Hansen, interim vice president of enrollment maganement and marketing, said, "The record numbers reflect the quality and value of our institution and the hard work of our tremendous enrollment team over the last year."
