(Neb.)- Two Chadron Youngsters Pitch, Hit And Run Their Way To Coors Field

(Chadron)- A pair of Chadron youth participated in last weekends Major League Baseball pitch, hit and run skills competition at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The two qualifiers Coy Bila and Kennedy Trueblood qualified for the “Team Champion” pitch, hit, and run competition after placing first at two local contests, held in Chadron, and Sturgis, SD.
 
Bila and Trueblood both earned runners-up at the “Team Champions” competition, placing second out of three challengers in each division.
 
The winners of the “Team Champions” competition will now go on to compete for the national pitch, hit and run title at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets during MLB’s All-Star weekend
 
Bila placed second last year at the National competition.
