(Wyo.)- A New Week, A New Spring Snowstorm In Wyoming
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - For the third straight week, Wyoming is seeing a spring snowstorm hit the state and more problems for travelers.
Crashes on snowcovered and slick roads caused temporary closures of interstates 80 and 25 in the Cheyenne area Monday.
In northeast Wyoming, the snow made for hazardous travel in the Sheridan area, including Interstate 90, on Monday morning.
Sheridan received about 8 inches of snow, Gillette 7 inches, Story 13 and Big Horn 18. Mountain areas saw higher amounts.
The latest storm to hit the state comes in the wake of big snowstorms in each of the past two weeks.
But Rich Miller of the National Weather Service in Riverton says after this storm moves through the rest of the week looks dry and warmer.
