(Neb.)-Northwest Rural PPD To Raise Rates
(Hay Springs)-Northwest Rural Public Power District announced on Tuesday they will be making rate changes beginning with the April 2013 billing. The revisions track the cost of purchased power from their power supplier, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, as well as to offset the increased cost of maintaining the electrical system.
The rate increase, which goes into effect on Saturday, may differ based on individual rate classes as well as individual usage patterns within the rate classes. The specific rate changes will be sent to NWRPPD customers, and customers can also call their office with questions, 308-638-4445.
The rate adjustment will allow NWRPPD to continue to provide the quality and reliable electric service that customers deserve and have become accustomed to while maintaining their financial stability.
