(Neb.)-Flags To Fly At Half-Staff To Honor Victims of Boston Bombings
(LINCOLN)-Governor Dave Heineman, in accordance with the proclamation from President Barack Obama, has announced that all U.S. and Nebraska flags will be flown at half-staff in respect for the victims of the tragedy in Boston, Massachusetts.
“This senseless act of violence pulls at the heartstring of all of us,” said Heineman. “As Nebraskans, we care deeply for our neighbors, friends, and families that were at the Boston Marathon, who are part of the marathon and sports community, and we hope for the best for all Americans affected.”
Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset, Saturday, April 20th.
