(Neb.)-Chadron Schools Strategic Planning Committee Generates New Ideas Listen
(Chadron)-The Chadron School Board held a special meeting on Monday evening at the Chadron High School. Members of the Strategic Panning Committees gathered to discuss current accomplishments, along with short, medium, and long term goal settings.
Breakout sessions were held in the Transportation, Building, and Grounds division as well as the Finance, Curriculum, Technology, Policy, and Legislative divisions. Chadron Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Caroline Winchester tells KCSR News that the future of the Chadron School District looks bright.

The sessions were open to the public for input as the meeting closed with each individual committee delivering a report on any adjusted or newly developed goals that had been set in the breakout sessions.
Some of the goals previously set for the 2012-2013 school year include, but are not limited to roof leaks, expense control, alternative education, and increased collaboration.
The next Strategic Planning Committee meeting will be held in six months, in September.
