(Chadron)-According to the Chadron Police Department, on Sunday, March 3rd, Kellie D. Smith had been issued a citation for an animal biting a dog at the Regency Trailer Court.

 

A report advised that there were two dogs at large at Regency Trailer Court 123 prior to the citation being issued.

 

In a separate incident on March 3rd, the Chadron Police Department responded to a call of a female subject being bitten while out on a walk on North Mears Street.

 

No further information is being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.

**Previous story reported bite was to unnamed subject.  The Chadron Police Department further updated KCSR News that the bite was to a dog and that the report did not originally clarify that.
