(Neb.)-Outlaw Printers Has New Owners
(Chadron)-A Chadron business started the year off with new owners. Matt and Senna Reeves recently purchased Outlaw Printers from Lorie and Bruce Dye, effective January 1. According to Matt, he and Senna have been wanting to purchase a business for quite some time.
He said that for several years, they have been wanting to purchase a business in Chadron, and the opportunity arose to purchase Outlaw Printers, which has been a successful Chadron business for more than 15 years in the downtown area. Matt said that is something that is hard to find. He also discovered that the Dye's son, Luke, was not interested in purchasing the business, so he contacted the family about the purchase, and everything else fell into place from there.
Senna said she will still be employed full-time at First National Bank North Platte, but she is looking forward to the new adventure with Outlaw Printers. She said she will just be adding this job to her already busy schedule. However, she is excited as this is a different dynamic than the bank, and they are both looking forward to moving forward with something that has been a dream of Matt's for quite some time.
She said owning a business has been a life-long dream of Matt’s, and so far, they have both had a very good experience. All of the employees that were on board before the purchase have remained, and Senna said Luke has also remained on to help with a smooth transition, which has been wonderful.
The couple said there will be no major changes to the business, as they are still learning the ropes of the business. Matt wants people to know just what services they offer. He said they do color prints, and also do custom shirts right in the building. According to Matt, there are several area schools which use the services of Outlaw Printers, incuding Chadron State College, Chadron High School, Hemingford, Hay Springs, and that people are always welcome to come in and utilize their talents. Matt said they have a staff with graphic designers, and although the Dye's didn't do much advertising as they had a large following, he and Senna would like to expand that even more as there are still many who don't know what they have to offer.
Outlaw Printers is located at 218 Main Street in Chadron.
