 (Neb.)-Alliance Prepares To Celebrate Its 125th Birthday
(ALLIANCE)-2013 is an exciting year for the city of Alliance as it celebrates its 125th Birthday. Chair of the 125th Birthday Celebration Committee Becci Thomas says, “Alliance is a wonderful place to live, work and play, and people with a variety of talents are needed to make this a great celebration. The hope is that a wide variety of (celebratory) activities will encourage community involvement, develop pride in achievement, and foster a love of Alliance that we all share with others.” Thomas says residents’ ability to come together for a cause has carried the city through the first 125 years, and the future looks bright as residents continue to strive toward “Build(ing) the Best Hometown in America.”
