(S.D.)-Rapid City Man To Lead Fundraising For State Historical Society

     RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - A Rapid City man will be leading the effort to raise money for the South Dakota State Historical Society.
 
     Michael Lewis has been named the president of the South Dakota Historical Society Foundation. The foundation is the nonprofit fundraising partner of the South Dakota State Historical Society. Both are headquartered at the Cultural Heritage Center in Pierre.
 
     Lewis' emphasis will be on fund raising and public relations for the foundation.
 
     Lewis previously worked for Citibank in South Dakota and US Bankcorp in Fargo, N.D. He is retired from the South Dakota National Guard/U.S. Army Reserve.
