(Neb.)-Chadron City Council To Meet Monday Evening
(Chadron)-The Chadron City Council will meet in regular session on Monday night, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Although Monday is a Federal holiday, the Chadron City Offices will not be closing.
Some items up for consideration include appointments to various boards and commissions and a request from the Dawes County Commissioners for a letter of support for the creation of a Nebraska Game and Parks Commission District to serve the Northwest Panhandle of Nebraska. The council will also adopt the revised City of Chadron employee personnel manual, discuss the purchase of a new SUV and pickup truck for city use, and vote on whether or not to approve a professional services agreement with Burbach Aquatics for services in connection with the proposed swimming pool project. This will also be the third and final reading on changing city requirements for the installation of sidewalks around town.
A full agenda is available for viewing at the city clerk’s office. The meeting is open to the public.
